Having a voice, being heard and respected – an obligatory, non-negotiable human right. Defying all odds, BWMK fights tirelessly to ensure that people with disabilities can be an equal, active part of society. But listening alone is not enough – Keko and BWMK got to work: from film shootings, interactive exhibitions to the big celebration – people with and without disabilities played an active role in the 50-year anniversary. Together we developed a comprehensive concept that not only talks about inclusion, but makes it come to life.

The 50th anniversary project of BWMK impressively demonstrates how inclusion can be brought to life and made tangible. Through close collaboration between Keko and BWMK employees, a concept was developed that not only addresses participation but actively implements it. The diversity of measures – from an interactive exhibition to a moving publication – stands out for its precision, emotional depth, and strategic clarity. This work sends a powerful message for lived inclusion and social cohesion.
