The GimCat design relaunch is based on a holistic transformation process: starting with a redefinition of the brand identity, a modern, consistent image was developed step by step. Analysis, creative exploration and iterative fine-tuning led to a snack design that reunites structure, emotionality and brand character. The result is a clear, future-oriented brand identity that visibly advances GimCat.
The Jury‘s Statement
In the cat food segment, GimCat had long been shaped primarily by a functional profile; the snack range lacked a distinct visual role of its own. The relaunch restructures the portfolio and gives packaging in particular a clear task: to provide orientation, allow for emotional appeal and still hold the parent brand together. The colour concept, hierarchy and imagery featuring real cats differentiate varieties and occasions of consumption with precision. This results in a packaging system that positions the brand more clearly on shelf and makes its broadened ambition plausibly visible.
