Stiftung Allianz für Entwicklung und Klima wants to teach children about the impact of the climate crisis in the Global South, the consequences this has on the reality of people's lives there and what solutions could look like. Through schools, we create space for discussion and awareness, act within the framework of the foundation's educational mission and also reach entire families through the children. The message is spread further through companies that can have the books personalized.
The Jury‘s Statement
The Allianz Foundation for Development and Climate has launched its comic series "My Development - Our Climate!" A remarkable example of how complex issues such as the climate crisis in the global South and its impact on the lives of the local population can be conveyed in an appealing and accessible way. Through the skilful integration of children as a target group and at the same time as ambassadors in their families, it is possible to raise awareness for sustainable development and global climate protection. The individual customization of the comics for companies allows a broad spread and deep anchoring of the message in society. This project impressively illustrates how creative storytelling and content marketing can make an important contribution to education and awareness of climate justice.
