In 2025, VGH celebrated its 275th anniversary, reaffirming its status as one of the world’s most longstanding insurance companies. The company used this milestone to highlight both its historic significance and its contemporary relevance. The multi-month anniversary campaign spanned a wide range of classic and digital touchpoints: from striking out-of-home executions and an emotional brand spot featuring a historical narrative to a curated travelling exhibition. In addition, social media formats with a strong focus on interaction generated further reach and engagement. The activation was rounded off with a major celebration for all employees.

The Jury‘s Statement

For long-established brands, communicating an anniversary without remaining stuck in retrospect is a demanding task. For VGH, Silverbullet Werbeagentur developed "275 Jahre VGH" ("275 Years of VGH") as a precisely coordinated brand event that brings together history, regional closeness and present-day relevance across film, out of home, social media and exhibition. It is in the interplay of these formats in particular that a coherent experience emerges, involving different target groups and anchoring the brand as a reliable companion in everyday life.
