‘Staying livable. Becoming climate neutral.’ This is the vision behind the newly launched Urban space and Mobility 2040 strategy of the City Council of Zurich. The strategy sets the guidelines and defines the measures for livable urban space planning and climate-friendly mobility. TBS was given the mandate to develop the messaging, visual identity and communication for the new strategy. The result is a concise identity for the entire communication, a series of strategy documents and measures, as well as a striking campaign on the added value of the strategy.

The city of Zurich demonstrates a groundbreaking approach with its strategy “Urban Space and Mobility 2040” by integrating urban planning and climate-friendly mobility. The concise communication, clear visual identity, and impactful campaign effectively bridge the complex strategy contents with the needs of the public. Particularly impressive is the consistent embedding of the vision “Remain liveable. Become climate-neutral.” across all channels. This project excels through strategic clarity, visual coherence, and outstanding execution.
