What to do when AI starts to replace your own core business? We have decided to cannibalise our own business model before it is replaced. AI promises speed, but does not solve key requirements: product genuineness and authenticity. Both are non-negotiable in e-commerce. So instead of building an AI tool, we re-thought production and combined AI with 30 years of fashion experience. This turned technological disruption into a new business model. We have not only changed the way we work, but also redefined what we stand for as a production company: Human + AI.

The Jury‘s Statement

When artificial intelligence began to fundamentally call the production model in fashion e commerce into question, Wiethe Content responded not with an add-on tool, but with a redefinition of its own brand promise. Real products and real models remain the foundation, while AI expands the process in the background into a robust system for additional assets, shorter routes and clear rights. This new business model gains its traction by tying technological change to authenticity, process reliability and the operational reality of brands.
