Albi is a smart chatbot that supports students in grades 8–11 in exploring careers in the skilled trades. Developed by think moto for the Bildungsforum Handwerk, Albi translates the values of craftsmanship into a digital brand personality that feels approachable, supportive and lively. Through intelligent conversational design, a strong visual identity, and responsibly applied technology, Albi makes skilled trades tangible, builds self-confidence, and opens up new perspectives. Career guidance thus becomes a meaningful brand experience with social impact.
The Jury‘s Statement
Where career guidance often stops at providing information, think moto’s "Albi" focuses on relationship and dialogue. The chatbot gives the skilled trades a digital brand personality that takes young people seriously and accompanies them in their own language. Conversational design, visual identity and responsive interaction behaviour are closely aligned. Despite its pilot status, it has produced a clearly scalable system that not only communicates orientation, but delivers it through the user experience itself.
