Licht im Raum – handmade in Solingen, Germany. The brand Licht im Raum® is the product of Solingen-based Dinnebier Licht GmbH’s long history and experience in the lighting market. For 60 years, Dinnebier Licht has stood for professional lighting design and luminaire production in its own manufactory. The company was founded by the first lighting designer of his time, Johannes Dinnebier in 1956 and has continued under the leadership of Daniel Klages and Jule Dinnebier since 1999.

Statement of the jury

The brand Licht im Raum was born out of the requirements of professional lighting design and has been continuously developed. Today, the brand stands for precision craftsmanship, high quality and durable design. The fact that all luminaires are manufactured in the in-house factory in Solingen is part of the authentically lived brand strategy that has been translated into a modern, aesthetically sophisticated brand world. A neatly managed brand with a philosophy behind it that is convincing down to the last detail.
