The marketing campaign was conducted by creative agency XI DE SIGN, famous for its innovative art projects, and featured an attention-grabbing mural in Berlin. The campaign was designed to raise the profile of Cologne’s c/o pop Festival in Berlin and to set the benchmark for city marketing geared to the future. There were various out-of-home formats, including an exclusive NFT drop, digital avatars and a competition. Events included live painting, DJ sets and performances by bands and comedians.
