With its new market presence, R+V repositioned itself in 2020 on the basis of its cooperative DNA. The attitude behind the claim »You are not alone« needed to be made tangible for customers, employees and sales partners. In 2021, R+V proved this and strengthened its attitude with measurable success – with a clear position against racism and verbal violence, pragmatic help in emergency situations (flood disaster, coronavirus) and customer-oriented products.


Statement of the jury

In the two years after its relaunch in 2020, R+V Allgemeine Versicherung made its attitude tangible for customers, employees and sales partners across all points of contact via the claim »Du bist nicht allein« (»You are not alone«). And it did so not only in its daily business but also considerably beyond this. With its clear and courageous position against racism, hate and verbal violence, as well as its engagement in the pandemic and in the flood disaster, R+V is making visible what has always in essence been part of its corporate DNA and is bringing its promise to life sustainably in a contemporary, tangible and credible manner. An outstandingly conceived relaunch that is raising the topic of »assuming responsibility« to a larger social context and that therefore represents a genuine USP with respect to competitors.
