Kampagne Mietenstopp

Description

Mietenstopp is a thoroughly impartial civil alliance and campaign that advocates for a nationwide six-year freeze or cap on current rent prices in Germany, as well as reforms and/or limits to inordinate rent increases for new rental contracts. The popular movement incorporates activists and more than 125 renter organisations and initiatives from all over Germany – including the DMB (German Tenants' Association) and the Parity Trade Union Confederation – to advocate for the rights of German renters.
