DIN has stood for trust, safety and precision throughout the world since 1917. With shorter innovation cycles, the demands on the standards organisation have changed. DIN has responded with the new product DIN SPEC, faster processes and a change to its self-image – cause for a new brand strategy. It was introduced in August 2015 and can be seen at “www.din.de” and other locations. Besides the established values, the website clearly highlights how standards encourage innovation.
