Description

As a sub-division of the uvex group, the uvex sports group uses its two brands, uvex and ALPINA, to project the company’s entire corporate image. uvex is a partner for international elite sport and supplies many top professional athletes. In addition to the athletes’ equipment, the Winter Olympics 2018 marketing campaign also features gold as the main colour, symbolising the colour of winners. The campaign was rolled out via digital and analogue communication channels internally and externally.


Statement of the jury

Since 1972, the uvex sports group and its brand uvex have been supplying equipment for Olympic athletes and producing a special collection of helmets and ski goggles for each edition of the games. The company’s marketing campaign, whose main colour is gold, evokes the colour of Olympic medals. A simple but powerful concept that the company has implemented adroitly from the standpoint of both form and content – a concept that has attracted a great deal of attention and that also underscores the superb quality of the company’s products and brand.
