Real, current, grounded, young, fun, sexy and always in step with the times – for more than two decades now, RTL II has been a trusted brand in German TV. A comprehensive 2015 redesign has helped the channel, originally intended as a home for rebroadcasts, to reinvent itself. The new design’s bright colours and straight lines ensure a high degree of recognition value and differentiation from competitors. At the same time, the station’s primarily in-house and cross-media productions give it a distinct profile that sets it apart as an independent broadcaster which is fully able to compete in the market.
